Position: Children's Pastor
We are seeking a dynamic and devoted Children’s Pastor to lead and grow our Children’s Ministry. This role is key in nurturing the faith of children through fun, safe, and spiritually enriching programs—including our Nursery and Children’s Church. The ideal candidate is passionate about kids, grounded in the Word, and excited to mix faith with fun.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and lead all children’s ministry programming (Nursery & Children’s Church).
• Teach Bible-based lessons and create engaging activities and events.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, encouraging spiritual growth.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers.
• Ensure child safety protocols and complete CPR and Arkansas DHS training.
• Collaborate with other church leaders and attend staff meetings.
• Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers about ministry activities and child development.
Position: Environmental Specialist
Second Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated and dependable Environmental Specialist to help maintain our church campus as a clean, safe, and welcoming space for worship, ministry, and community engagement. This position is essential to supporting the spiritual and operational life of the church through the upkeep of our facilities and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the church’s exterior grounds: mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal landscaping, and general upkeep.
• Ensure all outdoor areas (parking lots, walkways, signage, playgrounds, etc.) are clean, safe, and presentable.
• Support basic interior maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Assist with event and ministry setup/teardown including furniture, equipment, and staging.
• Perform light custodial duties as needed, especially during high-traffic times or special events.
• Monitor the facility for any hazards, damages, or supply needs and report promptly to the Facilities Manager.
• Maintain tools, workspaces, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure a positive and functional worship environment.
