DNP Research Project

With Type 2 diabetes affecting 37% of Arkansans, your health literacy is important to the healthcare community. If you are an adult member of the Second, living Type 2 diabetes, we are requesting your participation in a research project conducted by a Doctor of Nursing Practice student attending Delta State University. 

This study consists of a short health literacy assessment and educational classes held for only 30 minutes after church services. Each participant who participates in at least 50% of classes will have a chance to win a health gift basket valued at over $140.

Please note that all information collected during this research project is kept confidential. If you would like to participate, sign-up dates will be on Sunday, February 8th and February 15th, after services in the foyer.
